    (54) THERMAL INSULATING WALL OF A RESERVOIR

    The invention relates to the construction of storage tanks for low-temperature liquids.
    The known insulating wall of the fluid reservoir contains an outer shell, an inner primary hermetic corrugated membrane located at a distance from the outer shell, a layer of intermediate thermo insulating blocks with a secondary liquid permeable inside it, reinforced by means of fastening means on the outer shell and on primary membrane 1.
    The known structure is not reliable enough in operation and does not provide compensation for thermal stresses.
    The aim of the invention is to ensure the reliability of the operation of the tank and the compensation of thermal stresses.
    The goal is achieved by the fact that the thermal insulating blocks have slots opposite the corrugations of the primary membrane and consist of a layer of wood or cellular material glued under the layer of panels of wood or rigid synthetic material and spacers of cellular material placed between the panels with In this case, the panels can be rectangular or trapezoidal in shape, and the thermal insulation blocks are provided with wooden flooring.
    The drawing shows the construction of the thermal, insulating wall, section.
    Thermal insulation wall contains primary corrugated membrane I, outer shell 2, secondary membrane 3 with fasteners 4 and 5, thermal insulation blocks 6, which consist of layer 7, panels 8 with gaskets 9 and lattice flooring from bars 10. Thermal insulation blocks have slots 11 located opposite corrugations 12.
    Layer 7 can be made of balsa wood or cellular material, such as PVC. The presence of slots makes it possible to compensate for thermal deformations, and the structure itself is simple and reliable.

A thermal insulating wall of a fluid reservoir containing an outer shell, an inner primary hermetic corrugated membrane located at a distance from the outer sheath, a layer of intermediate thermo insulating blocks with a secondary liquid impermeable membrane placed on it fixed by means of fastening means on the outer shell and primary membrane, characterized in that, in order to ensure the reliability of the operation of the tank and to compensate for thermal stresses, thermal insulation blocks have slots located opposite the corrugations of the primary membrane, and consist of a layer of wood or cellular material glued under a layer of panels of wood or rigid synthetic material and
    spacers made of cellular material placed between the panels.
